How do you honor a woman who never sought recognition and was always true to her nature? She was a feminist, a humanist, and a nature-loving, spiritual person who never felt the need to tell anyone else what to believe or how to worship. She was born into the Great Depression and lived to see women’s liberation. Her story needed to be told.
